Quality, Sustainable Training & Employment Opportunities
For many local people, the main route out of poverty will be through training and employment. But household income will only increase if the training is of sufficient relevance and quality, and the employment opportunities are sufficiently well-paid and sustainable. This requires a change of emphasis in the way that training and employment opportunities are developed and unwaged people are engaged.
Our aim is to work with local employers, training and employment providers and other partners to help ensure that this change of emphasis takes place.
