Community Councils
The North Edinburgh Trust has been instrumental in setting up and supporting a community council in each of the four Greater Pilton Neighbourhoods. These are:
- Drylaw and Telford Community Council
- Muirhouse and Salvesen Community Council
- West Pilton and West Granton Community Council
- Granton and District Community Council
All four organisations meet on a regular basis to discuss and address local issues of concern, identify community priorities and their engagement with the local neighbourhood partnerships. All meetings are open to the public, publicised in advance and attended by local councillors.
The North Edinburgh Trust provides limited support to other local community councils, including Trinity.
